What KleeQuiz collects
KleeQuiz may store your name, email address, account settings, credit balance, membership status, saved quizzes, quiz results, policy acknowledgements, and security information needed to operate and protect your account. If you enable SMS verification, KleeQuiz stores the phone number you provide. Trusted-device security can also store a random device token, browser family, and a coarse country code supplied by Cloudflare.
Study materials, Advanced Scan, and AI generation
When you upload a PDF or Word document, KleeQuiz can extract text and send relevant portions to the configured AI provider to generate questions. If a Pro user enables Advanced Scan, KleeQuiz can also render source page images, diagrams, charts, or scanned pages and send those visuals to the AI provider for interpretation. A generated quiz can retain a copy of a source visual when that visual is needed for an image-based question, until the quiz is deleted.
Written answers and AI ratings
For Pro question types that use AI rating, such as short-answer and long-response questions, the answer you submit, the question, reference answer, and generated rubric can be sent to the configured AI provider to produce a practice score and feedback. These ratings are automated estimates and can be inaccurate.
Email and SMS
KleeQuiz can use Google Workspace/Gmail SMTP to send account-verification, sign-in, and security messages. These transactional messages can be sent when needed for your account even if you do not opt in to optional service-update emails. If you choose the optional service-update checkbox, KleeQuiz may also send messages such as planned-maintenance notices, feature notices, and privacy/terms changes. You can turn those optional update emails off in Settings.
Optional service-update emails and security emails are sent using the configured KleeQuiz no-reply sender. Questions and replies can be directed to support@kleequiz.com.
If you enable SMS verification, your phone number and verification requests are sent to Twilio Verify so the security code can be delivered and checked.
Payments and memberships
Stripe handles payment checkout and subscription billing. KleeQuiz receives payment, invoice, customer, subscription, and checkout identifiers needed to confirm purchases, apply Plus monthly credits, and manage membership access. KleeQuiz does not intentionally store your full payment-card number.
How information is used
Information is used to operate accounts, save quizzes and progress, generate and rate study questions, process purchases, provide membership features, prevent abuse, secure sign-ins, and send messages you requested or that are needed for account security.
Your choices
You can delete individual quizzes from your library, revoke trusted devices, and change optional service-update email preferences from Settings. You can contact support@kleequiz.com for account-data or deletion questions during the beta.
Policy acknowledgement
KleeQuiz asks users to acknowledge this Privacy Policy when creating an account and when signing in. KleeQuiz records the current policy version and the time of the acknowledgement for account-management purposes.
Security and changes
No online service can promise perfect security. KleeQuiz may update this policy as its features, providers, or data practices change. The current version remains available from the site footer, and opted-in users may receive service-update emails about significant changes.
